Employability Booster Camp was held between 21st May 2019 to 29th May 2019. The core objective of the camp was to bridge the gap between the academic knowledge and job skills and empower student with practical knowledge to enter in the professional world with absolute confidence.
This session was primarily targeted for the students from rural section of the society and for the economically weaker section students. This is second consecutive year of this innovative workshop by Sys Foundation. Students who had appeared for final year B.A/B.Com/B.Sc. were admitted after they cleared the aptitude test. Students from semi urban and rural areas are handpicked for this totally FREE power packed workshop.
Students will be informed about four major mass recruiting industries namely :
KPO/BPO/IT
Banking and Insurance
Retail Sales/Logistics Management and Supply Chain
Hospitality and Tourism
Besides the domain knowledge, soft skills was a major focus of this workshop. The students were trained on establishing healthy and effective communications skills, which included Oral, Written and Body Language. It is said that the Resume is the first step towards success in a professional world. The students were taught the skills of drafting an impressive CV and each student was provided personalized hand holding helping them draft their CV. The students were also educated on how to effectively handle organizational dynamics and emerge as an effective leader.
Several students have taken advantage of this camp and have benefited in seeking handsome employment and setting up their own business after this workshop.
