"Nisargayan" is only one of its kind environmental awareness and capacity building initiative along with "Online Certification" which let the students/nature enthusiasts
Act - Where students / individuals will be planting and nurturing 25 odd numbers of 5 commonly known plant species on their own.
Enjoy while learning - About 80 species of butterflies, birds, flowers, trees with their photographs and significant information.

Nowadays, many of us including students are busy with modern lifestyle, spending more time watching TV and playing games on mobile phones, all the time engaged with social media than being physically active.
Experts say that participating in any nature related initiative supports growth in multiple development domains - in other words, we benefit intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually and physically when we learn from nature. It supports creativity and problem solving skills. It enhances cognitive abilities and improves academic / professional performance.
"Nisargayan" initiative aims to bridge the gap between us and nature in a very enjoyable way.
You will get "Common Species in Maharashtra" Handbook free with "Nisargayan Kit", once you are enrolled for the same. You will get username and password along with exam link by email once your registration process is over. As this is an open book kind of exam, you can attempt this exam from any place.
Not at As Nisargayan Online Exam is PAN Maharashtra initiative, a very broad deadline is set as 31st December 2020. Which may also be further extended as we have planned to reach 20000 students / nature enthusiasts in the first phase.
Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board and Sanjay Gandhi national Park are prime endorsements to this initiative.
Is there any age limit? There is no age limit for participation in this initiative. Students or nature enthusiasts of any age can participate.
Typically the enrollment is through heads of schools / institutions, but for other individuals, they can write to sysfoundation7@gmail.com. Alternatively you can visit www.sysfoundations.org and locate for Nisargayan TAB or Webpage.
There is a minimal fee of Rs. 250/- per person as Registration and Certification charges which can be paid through the office of your school / institution. For Individuals they can pay by crediting Rs. 250/- per person by cash / cheque / electronic transfer in the account mentioned below :

Once you pay, please email to sysfoundation7@gmail.com mentioning your name, mobile number, address, UTR Number and attach photo of deposit slip if you have paid by cash / cheque. You will be provided with exam credentials and "Nisargayan Kit" once we confirm receipt of your payment.
No Way.... The biggest motive of this initiative is to promote awareness about biodiversity in trees, flowers, butterflies and birds commonly found in western ghats. It is very much sufficient if a person could identify the species with their common names. While attempting Nisargayan Online Exam, knowledge of only common names of species is desired.
